Tábor Zoo
Tábor Zoo is the biggest zoological garden in terms of area in Southern Bohemia. Tábor Zoo participates in attempts to return European bison back to Czech nature, and also another unique species live here, e.g. the Siberian tiger or Alaskan tundra wolf. Nowadays you'll find sixty animal species here, and more than one third of them belong to protected species.
The zoological garden of Tábor organizes events like feeding animals with commentaries, educational programmes, regular thematic events for families with children, team building events for businesses, summer evening tours, and also organizes the biggest charity event in the region for families with disabled children, called the Night of Dreams.
The zoological garden of Tábor is a perfect place for families with children. Free parking is available within the garden premises. Most of all, visitors appreciate a natural character of the zoo, close contact with animals, a restaurant with great cuisine and a beautiful view of the landscape over the canyon of the Lužnice River. Enjoy a real wilderness with your friends and close relatives in the Tábor Zoo.
