Blatské Museum in Soběslav and Veselí nad Lužnicí
The museum is a subsidiary of the Hussite Museum in Tábor and focuses on nature, history and ethnography of the Tábor region. For nature lovers, the museum has a very interesting permanent exhibition in Rožmberský dům, devoted to both fauna & flora across the region. Fans of history will be satisfied as well, since the same building holds another exhibition named "Soběslav - město pětilisté růže (the town of a five-leaf rose)" devoted to the Rožmberk family – their history and lives. Blatské Museum also manages the Weis House in Veselí nad Lužnicí where important items with high art and historical value are on display and the Karel Weis Hall is here since Weis was a composer and an important folk-song collector in Southern Bohemia.
