The geological exhibition of ‘Pod Klokoty’ in Tábor sets out to show to the general public some types of stones which surround us.

The exhibition features samples of stones from the South-Western region, including some basic information about each of the displayed samples and a map and pictures of the site where the stone was selected. In order to present the structure of the samples, a small area of each stone is polished. Visitors can obtain information leaflets from the Tábor Tourist Information Centre. The exhibition is accessible at no charge all year round.

Location: On the right bank of the River Lužnice, in a former stone quarry, under the Klokoty Monastery
