Housův Mill
The history of Hussites comes alive on a site built on foundations of a mill from the 13th century. During summer holidays and on other occasions you can try on knight's armour, try archery and crossbow shooting, swordplay, a knight simulator, a soft foam battle, mintage, slingshot and axe throwing or Hussite skittles and you can also attend a performance of acrobats, dancers, knights and other professional artists. Throughout the year you can visit a filmmaking armoury or a Hussite pub on the site and stay in unconventional rooms. Many cultural events are organized in Housův mill. Celtic holiday celebrations rank among the traditional ones, as well as Hussite Days at the end of May/beginning of June and the Warrior Festival, full of swordplay, in November.
