The lookout tower is situated on the edge of the Svákov Celtic settlement on a slope over the Lužnice River, with a beautiful semi-circular view of Soběslav, surrounding villages and even the ruins of Choustník. Close to the tower, there is the Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows and also Svákov springs with drinking water considered by many to have healing effects . To get to the tower, follow the yellow tourist trail directly from the Soběslav station (approx. 4.5 km) or drive to a forest path by the road between Soběslav and Nedvědice and follow the marked tourist trail (approx 1 km).
