Šelmberk - castle ruins with a watch tower
You can visit the ruins of a castle from the 13th century with a well-preserved bergfried tower as an observation tower that has survived to the present day. The castle remains are now a part of a historical-craft educational centre whose purpose is to inform the general public about craftsmanship of our ancestors. The centre includes multiple workshops, a forge, a pottery oven or, for example, a small herb garden. The Danar Club organizes various craft festivals and programmes for young generations within the castle premises.
