Hotel lies on the bank of the river Lužnice in one of Tábor's neighbourhoods, Čelkovice. In 1268, a spa was founded here, and the Hussite leader Onřej Prokop, called "Holý", is reported to have been treated here. The former "Municipal Spa" was later rebuilt to today's hotel shape. The hotel is situated in a quiet neighbourhood, and a beautiful view of the quiet river flow and a mill from the 16th century with a water wheel unfolds from the restaurant and most of the rooms.
